Not too sure if this will work through the purple shop but it does with apple shop. If you bough from apple you can take back within 14 days and get the refresh model. But not too sure what the terms are for the purple shop
 
Spent about 10K with them so... Maybe. If someone has any more info that would be great. They are coming next week to swap a broken printer and a broken WD Passport.

Just bought myself Imac 27" I5 first time user of the OS x enviroment, found it very easy to move over from windows 7.

The other monitors are attached to my PC setup.
 
I can say after just a few days I'm using it more than the PC. I think the PC as now become an expensive console because I use the Imac for everything else. Ordered some more goodies for it this morning.
 
Its been a while since I've ventured into mac terroritory, last mac I used properly was a mac quadra of some description, some 12 years ago, so this nice little ibook comes up for sale for the princely sum of £60 with a slight fault of freezing, a quick google and a soldering iron later its now fully working.

Have never used os x but it seems pretty similar to the old system 7 even though its probably worlds apart undernearth.

Will make a nice little browser laptop.

The top off my mini as I replaced the internal hdd! Was a nervous time but thanks to ifixit instructions it was pretty painless (except for the bit where the Bluetooth antennas came off the board its self, they clipped back on though!).

Now I'm spinning at 7200rpm instead of 5400rpm! It really has made a difference!
