How does Warzone perform for you? I see mixed reports out in the wild with some users reporting stuttering or low performance and others saying it runs great.

Feel free to share your performance reports or preferably video reports good or bad and show off your skills (if you have them - which i don't :p).

I find this game runs very well at my monitors native resolution, 5120x1440, or 1440P - which i often use for recording footage.

Try to follow the following thread format if you want to contribute any report.

Game Mode: Mini Royale
Resolution: 1440P
Image Quality: Maximum, but with RT/Blur/DepthofField/Grain Off
CPU: 5950X
GPU: 6900 XT

Beastly FPS there - how does the 6800XT compare ?

Can you do a similar vid in 4K as my 1440p results are way too shameful to compare :p
10%-12% worse is my estimate based on the tests i ran when i had a 6800 XT.

I would run 4K but my Ultra Wide does not support it unfortunately.

I am actively trying to procure a 4K display for 'work purposes' though. :p

i dont know how to benchmark this game OP?

this game has no benchmark, there is no way to do an apples to apples comparison
It’s not supposed to be a benchmark. Just play some Warzone, capture some footage and share you settings. It’s a very popular game so graphics performance comparisons are interesting.

I've always found this runs smooth as silk for me... these are not my normal setting as i normally play at 4k but for the purpose of this benchmark copied your exact settings although just realised its a quads game on resurgence but i doubt that will change thing much as same map :D

Game Mode : Resurgence Quads
Resolution : 1440p
Image Quality: Maximum, but with RT/Blur/DepthofField/Grain Off
CPU: i9-10900K
GPU: RTX3090 Strix Oc
Great video, thanks for the contribution. :)

@LtMatt I run exactly the same settings as you but 3440 x 1440 res and limit fps to 90 as using 100Hz Gsync screen.
I also use Geforce experience game filter settings for things like sharpening

What custom framerate limits do you have enabled?

I'll get a vid later showing my settings and performance how I usually play but cost of the time fps is 90 do to cap for gsync
I used to let it run uncapped, so i think it goes up to 300 or so? But just recently I've started locking the FPS to 98 or 99, it actually seems to make things even smoother and reduce latency so i can see why you do it.

Game Mode: Mini Royale quads
Resolution: 3440 x 1440
Image Quality: Maximum, but with RT/Blur/DepthofField/Grain Off
CPU: 5800X
GPU: 2080 Ti

HD video is uploading now. Youtube downscales 3440 x 1440 to 1080p
Nice video mate thanks for the contribution. :)

I am glad to see I'm not the only one that has issues with Ultra Wide and YouTube. It's why i often just upload 1440P footage rather than 5120x1440. :p

Excuse the camping and missing most of the shots :D

A good bit away from the 6900XT and 3090 posted here
Looks good that, cheers for contributing.

You guys are all pretty good. I'm more used to playing Modern Warfare on the small maps and running and gunning like a madman. :D

Well there was a vid put out by battlenonsense that showed that input lag was increased in situations where the GPU was close to 100% usage. And a subsequent video showing that reflex gets rid of that extra latency but I doubt there is much difference in input lag with it on in situations like yours where you are capping FPS.

Do you feel you need low CPU latency, does the game feel off for you at 11ms given that its just matching GPU (1000/90) ?
Doesn't feel that much different to me but I haven't tried using an old driver to see how that compares
Yes that was the video that encouraged me to start locking the FPS to a couple of FPS within the FreeSync range of my monitor.

I thought it was smooth before with the FPS running unconstrained, but I was amazed at how much smoother locking the FPS to 98 made the game. It was more responsive also, so that video is definitely right. Great tip for fast paced shooters.

This game is massively CPU/RAM limited rather than GPU. I have a 3080 and a 2700x and get a good 30fps under what my mate gets with a 5800x. I did get a nice frame rate boost jumping from 16Gb to 32Gb of RAM so that's another thing to consider
This is true. The game is so light on the GPU that it barely draws any power i find, see attached screenshots.

In other games i see 50W+ more power draw, with COD it's often at 200W or lower which is a bit odd. Still runs great though so can't complain. :)

No video, but Titan pascal 1440p mostly high settings (no blur, filmic) I get 110 average, just dipping up 100 and going as high as my limit of 140. Set my cpu cores to 6 in the config file - 5820k. Still haven't found the time to install your 3950x Matt!!
What the hell mate, that’s my beloved 3950X gathering dust on your shelf. :D

Now I've got a nice variety of GPUs, I thought I'd test Call of Duty Warzone performance using competitive settings 1080P, lowest possible settings, but particle effects high, bullet impacts enabled, cache sun/shadows on.

5800X3D
3800CL14
AMD Software Preview Driver May 2022
Nvidia 512.59
Warzone training area, spawn and don't move, wait 15 seconds and take screenshot (if anyone wants to compare performance)

6750XT Red Devil overclocked (gpu name in overlay is wrong, it is a 6750 XT)

6900 XTXH Toxic Extreme overclocked

3090 Founders Edition overclocked

Thanks to the 5800X3D, no GPU is majorly bottlenecked here and GPU utilisation is 95% or so across the board

1440P and 2160P results to follow.

@Duckwave @h4wks @JayG - Thought you guys might find this interesting.
