Show us your exhaust Youtube Thread!

I suspect I had the same problem with mine :)

Sounds good, if a bit quiet though!

Yea, thats kinda bugging me, the mic just doesn't seem to pick it up properly, stood there in person it's ridiculously loud.

I had to balance the camera on top of a small cardboard box and lean it up against the wall so it didn't fall over so was as far away as I could put it, I think I've got a small tripod somewhere though so I may be able to move the camera a bit further back if I can find it.

So I was bored earlier, and after reading this thread thought I'd go and see what sort of noise I could capture.

Here's a crap video of drive-by as well as a quick stationary 'rev'. Oh and me being harassed by someone learning to drive. Or maybe the other way round. Who knows. That bit of road is usually empty

Seeing as I cba to edit it, highlights are at the beginning, then 39 secs, then 1 minute in.

Made a DIY camera mount for my iphone today and just took a video from a nice sunday burn. Quality is excellent, just as good, if not better than gopro/contourhd, no vibration or sound problems either. Don't think i can post it up though as it looks like im doing mach 5 at some parts, must have been the camera angle lol. Shame as the car sounds awesome from inside :(

Did you have the aircon there?

How did you make the mount?

Well i wouldn't say made, just two things put together :p

manfrotto super clamp + gorilla pod style mini tripod....holds the phone very securely.

Think I recognise some of that road, near Steyning? Great road if it is the one I'm thinking of...looks good fun.

Edit: Yes its the same road, a mate of mine lives in steyning and I hate the drive down from the Midlands, the motorway bits at least especially if I end up using the m25. The last stretch to steyning always raises a smile though, driving on that road!

Love the 20VT engine and exhaust note. I used to have an LE. Loved it but it was plagued with reliability issues.
Heres some of mine, also in the show us your motors thread.

Since fitting a k and n and making the airbox and piping air tight my GTi-6 makes this intake noise and literally you can hear the air just being sucked in big time sounds pretty cool ill try and get it captured :P
I really want a jetex exhaust though, big time :P

I love silly fast cars and things like the S2K above but how much money would be spent to build something like that just to keep up with a 10k Sports bike
