Here's mine, only a 70mm but had to keep small as I have to move it about.

I've wanted a telescope for ages as I find looking at the nights sky fascinating. I realise I wouldn't see anything Hubble-like (:p), but just a model that's capable of seeing things like the rings around Saturn would be good, which I know is possible for a relatively inexpensive telescope.

Scared I wouldn't have a clue what I was doing though and it went to waste :o

Same. I love Astronomy but have never got round to getting really into it.

The Philips SPC900NC was on sale on a website for 11 quid or something a few months back, now theyre all on ebay for 80 quid :(

Can't be bothered to get mine out of the shed, so I got a stock photo-

Skywatcher Skyliner 200P Dobsonian

Thinking of downsizing to a 6-inch, or maybe even 4 as I don't drive anymore and it is massive.

Can't put up an actual photo of mine at the mo (at work) but I have:

Celestron CPC800 schmidt cassegrain

At the end of last year when we had some clear skies I was using it with the equitorial wedge but I've removed that at the mo to make it eaier to move when/if we get clear skies :(

Will put actual pic up later when I get home :)

I've always wanted something like that but with town lights it would be a waste of money.

I live in Brum and on nights with reasonable seeing it's surprising what can be viewed, certainly quite a few of the brighter Messier objects and splitting some of the tighter binary stars at the right time of year.

Saying that I do tend to go away from the West Midlands conurbation to do my astronomy.
