Show Us Your XBox 360 Setup!

As promised, the stand ended up taking me 4 and a half hours to put together, i had it up and down like a hookers knickers trying to get the bracket to fit.

Alls well that ends okay.

Looking good Mark!

Makro were having a sale in Glasgow for a new opening store, so the stand was down to £100, i didnt realise my fingers would have to shed blood to get it setup.

What was more stupid, was the position of the mount for the tv, because of the width of them, goes right across the hdmi/vga and component ports, i had to put them all in before mounting it, what a nightmare that was!

Nice setup, what screen is that?

Im really starting to regret impulsively buying my 32" Sony Bravia, wish I held on a couple of weeks and bought a 42" 1080p. Thinking about upgrading already. :( :p

Its a Pannasonic PX70, bargain at £750. Its only HD ready, the PZ70 is FULL HD, I looked at them back to back and you could only tell the differance with 1080p material at very close viewing distances, around 1 metre. And seeing as I dont have a 1080p source, and i sit 4 metres away, the PZ just didnt justify the extra £400.

Mine does accept a full 1080p signal, it just scales it down. it also supports the new 24fps format. Most importantly the picture is stunning. I had a 32" panny LCD before it, which I thought was nice, but this kicks it into touch by a mile.

Ill get a full HD set in a couple of years, when the HD format war is decided and the next batch of consoles that can properly support 1080p come out.

Its a fantastic TV for the price, mine cost £877 which was a decent price but yours :eek even better!

That's one hell of a beefy looking central speaker :p

Lovely setup mate :)

Cheers, the centre speaker aint actually that great, only a £100 yamaha unit. will be getting replaced with a Monitor Audio RSC after christmas, not a perfect match for the GS10 fronts ( the GS centre is £500  ) but its as close as I can afford.

Especally as my new 350watt Active sub should be arriving any day:D

Looks like the newest Panny perhaps a TH-50PZ700
1080p screen with the 50" being available for approx £1500 - £1800 ish most places which is incredible value.
Their perhaps not as good as the latest Pioneer Plasma sets but for performance-price ratio their just about the best at the moment. I think the Pioneer 42" cost about the price of the 50" Panasonic to give you an idea with the 42" Panny approx £1000.

Time to sell on that tiny Sony mate...
I recommend the new 58" version (TH-58PZ700PED) if your good for £3500 :)

Had some good news today wih my mothers old tube tele dying (sorry mum!), if I can convince her to buy my 32" then il get a Panasonic TH-42PZ70B-PED the same day. :D

I am quite tempted to get a bigger TV but the only source of funds I have is a credit card which already has about £2k on it. 32" seemed massive when I got it but now it just seems average. I want a MASSIVE TV.

Redecorating the room so new TV stand was required :)

Wanted black glass, but for a saving of £30 I thought sod it and bought normal glass, and I quite like it.
