New setup:
Sorry for crap quality, only got a camera phone.
Need to tidy up the cables which I'll be doing in the next couple of days now everything's connected right.
Oh and the radiator's never on :p

You're on my friends list right? Nice setup by the way :)

Just wondering - you have such a massive gamerscore yet you're barely ever online! How do you manage it? :o

Oh and Yaboy - love that film :D

Nice to see a hannspree owner.

Yeah, well for my dad atleast. I'm gonna plan on buying my own HD TV in future :D Hopefully before GTAIV release

Which Hannspree model is that? Hows the SD performance (preferably Sky). I'm thinking of a Hannspree, as I just can't bring myself to spend twice the amount on a high street brand that fills the picture with processing.

I'm not sure, but it cost around £375.

Actually looking at top left corner I see "XC-S" :)
It's okay, I see a lot of ghosting, and IMO I wouldnt use it for SD viewing as I thought it looked crap. As I said before though it isn't mine, i'm just 'borrowing' it ;) If I were to get one, it might be a LG/Samsung or something.

Still, for the price I think it's great for playing PC/Xbox360 and watching HD content.

Won't bother then, as it'll be used a lot for SD. LG and Samsung are the two top makes I'm considering. Would have been a Tosh but the single profile settings would annoy me. Cheers for the advice though!

No problem mate.

There is one really good thing I like, the standard speakers on it sound pretty nice, especially when watching I,Robot earlier

Sat back with a bag of minstrils, bottle of diet coke and enjoyed it.. :D

I just tried PS2 on it, really looked horrible, dunno if it will on every big HD tv but Id rather game on a standard size tv for last gen

Heh, it's bound to! If the SD capabilities aren't super then the PS2 is gonna look nasty! Reluctant to spend a huge amount on a telly at the moment, but a Sammy LE40M86/87 can be got for £700ish, tempting, but talking about it here is thread trashing! *slaps self*

Depends what Hannspree you buy. I have a 32" version thats the newer GT with freeview inside. I've played MotoGP07 on my PC through VGA cable. Theres been no ghosting at all. Just depends which model you buy. I would recommend the one I have its brilliant and for £320 inc P+P it was worth it. Have a look here if you're still interested Clicky
