Girls Aloud fan? Slightly embarrassed to say I am too... Although I don't have any posters :(

Why is your tv stand still wrapped in the stuff that it comes with? :o

Is that your room then? I thought you had a 42" thats all...?

I had a 40" and sold it to get that one.

Yes it is my room but ive moved out with some mates now so i dont have a tiny box room anymore - instead i have the master bedroom with En Suite :D:D mwahahahaha

And RoachycaL im a huge GA fan tis no secret on these forums ;)

/edit

Also the material is a dust magnet so it stops the dust plus its being mounted and will be taken off anyway

Im a bit of an idiot for not seeing them in your sig tbh, after all they aren't very missable :p & I dont blame you about the tv... I have a light behind mine so you can see all the light scratches on the base unit - even when I use the cloth supplied it still scratches it :(

It does have it but it works EXTREAMLY well on the M86 and the F86 range. There is no delay when it happens, its now part of DNIe now so only available in Dynamic Mode and Standard mode.

Thanks guys, am interested in getting one of these screens sometime soon.

Its an option in the service menu- if the model has it.

My Sammy R73 has it, I thought the backlight was on the way out until I found out about dynamic dimming and switched it off.

My problem was that the R72/3 range look NASTY with it turned off but seeing it always adjusting annoyed me. It's why I never got one.

I don't notice it being 'nasty' with it off, but then again I wouldn't class myself as a visual-phile so I probably wouldn't be able to assess the picture that well anyway. What did annoy me though, was the picture flipping its brightness every few seconds in scenes with rapidly changing pictures.

Nothing special I know but mine isn't up yet. Ignore the dust/mess under the desk and on the shelf ;) The desk is about the only thing I keep relatively tidy in this room!! LG L225WT 22" connected to 360 via VGA. Managed to get one of these with dual input, eveywhere I went in retail shops only had VGA and I wanted to conenct my PC too..... Dual screen setup with the L1710B 17" beast from donkeys ago, the difference in quality is amazing. But there is about a 6 year gap in technology :) contrast ratio and response times are light years apart between screens :)
