Anyone have any experience using 360 on a dell 2001fp. What modes can it run in. Whats the picture quality like? Whats the best way to plug it in?

Actually I was. I used to have a 56k modem, made by psion (remember them?) that looked just like a surf board. Was actually called the psion surfer. You could get different coloured 'wetsuits' and everything for it

Hey hey hey... The Psion Surfboard wasn't a 56k modem, it was a blistering 36.6kbps modem

Still got mine somewhere in the house in it's purple wetsuit

I've found it works best at 1024x768 over the VGA cable. Problem is lack of widescreen, which means resolutions other than 1024x768 can sometimes not work with certain games. Kong is somewhat of an exception, it only seems to run properly at widescreen resolutions which means u have to run at 1280x720, therefore leaving a black border at the top and bottom

But don't let that put you off, it still looks pretty good

Certainly better than any other console by a considerable margin.
