Show Us Your XBox 360 Setup!

Are IKEA prices always that silly?

£55 for 6 bits of wood and a bit of varnish seems a bit steep:eek:

I always think IKEA is really reasonably priced. It is just bits of wood but you could pay about £200+ for a TV unit from a decent store (although I think IKEA is decent, it's the reason I can afford the TV, consoles etc. :p)

That is absolutely fantastic.

I'm 19 at the moment and pictures like are such an inspiration to me to pus myself, the set up and the whole room is beautiful.

Thanks mate. I am only 23 though :)

TV looks bigger then 50" Squirrel, loving the setup though mate!

Updated some of my room now, rotated the bed for more comfy Rock Band playings, and got a cool Audio splitter for ease!

Thanks mate. I am loving your wall mounted TV, I would love to get that done when I (if I ever) own my own place.

Im only 23 too :)

Also i am renting, and when the Landlord saw the TV box when i first got it he said "you put it on the wall?" i was like i didnt think i would be allowed, he went go for it, just fill the holes back in after :)

I know a plasterer as well, so no problems when we leave :D

Our landlord is well alright though, he came over with a chainsaw recently and we cut down a tree, it was brilliant!

Awesome. Unfortunately our landlady/letting agents are complete ****s. We moved in over 3 weeks ago and we are having endless problems.

That's cool that your landlord is ok with stuff like that though :)

No i have an En-Suite for that :)

See :p - SingStar Session!!!

/edit - i also realise thats the other set of covers haha - they are similar :p

Oh dear 2nd from the left doesn't even realise she doesn't have a mic. Bright lass ;)

I'm constantly toying with the idea of a bigger screen McD, 46 inch. I'm worried that SD TV feed will look crap from 7 or so foot and will be gaming from around 9 foot.

Your bed looks about that far? Whats the SD look like?

At first... shocking! lol

You do sort of adapt to it, however i dont watch a huge amount of SD, ive got Terabytes of Hi Def content anyway and dont watch an amazing amount of TV.

It is certainly watchable, but at the same time, noticeable!

Since getting a plasma I can't believe how poor the SD TV is on my 32" LCD. So if you're worried about that have a look at getting a plasma :)

Visiting the family!

The screen is too small compared to the size of the room to be epic sorry.

That would be due to the wide angle lens i was using. Shot at 14mm...

EDIT - Just tried to estimate how big the screen is...when i lie down next to it it's about 50cm wider than my height, i'm 190cm (6'2" or 6'3"). Estimating the height i would say 140cm maybe? Dunno how many inches that would be, probably some simple maths would work that out. E.g. Pythagorus... 120" maybe. Definitely isn't small when your in there.

Wowwy! Pics in the light?

The blue light? The blue light can be changed to any colour and dimmed etc. It can be set to go around the entire room aswell and not just the front and each part can be turned on or off individually including the chair strip light.

Or do you mean why was i taking pictures with the light? Mainly to get a better picture.

Kinda don't want to leave! Going on thursday. :p

Little extra...

He meant pics with the lights turned up so we can see ;)

Lovely setup, though, nice to have a dedicated room where you can go the whole hog :)

As an aside, I'd like to say: damn you Ikea, for not delivering in Scotland... There is no excuse!
