Well I've finally finished setting up my TV, it took a while finding the right settings, at first I was unsure if I had brought the right TV becuase there was noticeable smearing/ghosting when playing games, I put it in game mode and it was still the same, then when I turned all the video enhancement features off (that are better suited for tv/sky etc) then it was perfect, the thing that really strikes me about this set is the blacks, they really are black, gives the Image an almost high definition CRT feel which is nice, no dead pixels or back light bleeding at all, the sound from the built-in speakers aren't amazing but they do sound quite warm and bassy which is good for a flat panel TV as most sound bars in my experience tend to be quite tinny sounding, my mate thought the sound was coming out my amp when he came round to check the TV out.
The built in DTV receiver managed to pick up all the available channels which was very surprising as normally I struggle to pick them all up on the stand alone DTV receivers that I've tried, I was using freeview sky but have decided to ditch that now and just use the TV's built-in DTV receiver, one con though is that it's not the most responsive digital receiver I've used, Anyway all in all for 350 I do think it's a bargain, I had done a lot of research into bargain priced 32" LCD tv's and it came down to the a Sammy, the Sony KDL32V4000, and the Toshiba Regza, many people complained about input lag on the Sammy and although the Sony was very highly regarded a quick search in av-forums seemed to confirm that the recent sets we're/are suffering of ghosting problems, if it wasn't for that then I probably would have got the Sony one.
One other minor con is the TV doesn't have an audio out which was annoying as becuase I was ditching my sky box I need to pump the sound from the TV into my AV-Receiver, I eventually solved the problem by purchasing an inexpensive 'scart to phono out adapter'.
I hope this helps, remember, if you do go for this TV (the Toshiba Regza) turn the video processing effects off on your chosen gaming AV channel.
