What TV is that? How much was it... I quite like it, could do with one similar for my uni house if the price was right.

Does it support 720p etc and is the colour depth anygood?

Thanks mate... I never noticed it lol all this time... I've connected it at the back now and connected my plug and charge/webcam to the hd dvd drive... looks much better :)


Just need a PS3 now ;)

Just got off the phone from Microsoft who are sending me a free copy of PGR3 :p Not bad for free I guess... They are taking the with repairing my HD-DVD drive tho.
 
Thought I'd treat myself so last week I upgraded my old 32" Samsung LCD for the new 1080p 40" Samsung :D

Just need to upgrade the candles now :p

Lounge is a bit of a mess right now because of the Xmas tree but once it get's taken down, those standing speakers will get moved, as will the chair partially shown in the pic.

I got mine for £1499.99 delivered, ordered it on Thursday 21/12, expecting to get delivery this week sometime. Was surprised to get a phone call the same day from a guy telling me he had a TV for me and was delivering it the next day :eek:

Your old Tosh is probably a CRT picture projected onto a screen.

So true, I have the 43 inch version of that screen and its schweet... right up until I had to replace the Lamp... OUCH OUCH OUCH!!!!!

Managed to get it for £315, but Sagem wanted £400!!!

Sweet picture tho, and much better in sunlight than any plasma or lcd I have seen...

I believe the GF will be buying me a Xbox360 premium for my Birthday in a few weeks time. 26! eek.

However I am in the process of buying my first house and I have some money set aside for a HD ready LCD TV. The house pretty much will only accomdate a 32" and I am expecting to pay from 600-800 pounds for it - seen the samsung one's which seem a good bet so far as it has the gaming mode and has a crisp display.

This will be used for the 360, DVDs and regular TV (freeview).

Any advice from you guys that have been in a similar situation or can recommend a TV that relates to that spec?
