lol this thread just keeps on going and going :)

some awesome set ups guys! :D

anyway, i finally decided that hanging my pj off garden string was a bit.....well.....mad! not to mention very unstable and made the projected image move all over the place (i've also invested in some rear speaker stands finally). so.....

My latest idea:

Meccano rules!

Like the creativity though a shelf would probably set you back about £10
Mind you if the diy job falls someday let me know as im trying to sell off a AE700 Pany PJ rather cheap.

btw some lovely setups in here lads.

No your not. Dont kid yourself. :p :)

lol you got my hopes up and then dashed them across the road :(

Mr Latte: I would have stuck a shelf up for it, but that wall is actually a fake wall and i think leans outwards lol. the people who used to live here wernt quite great DIY-ers lol the walls allready got 2 big shelves on it, i dont think i dare put anymore up lol

besides, Meccano's cool :)

lol It's ok. If it did fall off it would only land on my sofa so no biggie :) *as it bounces off the sofa and onto my floor ending up in 3 pieces*

melts the meccano, burns the paint off the wall behind it, falls onto the sofa, still burning things as it falls and lands, whole room goes up...lol

if it did fall off while it was on, theres a 90% chance i would be sitting under it lol thats gonna hurt, then burn then hurt some more. at least that way theres a good chance i could catch it and try and save it

Here is my minimalist set up.

Got a Jamo Surround Sound system hooked up to it to. Makes COD3 quite scary lol

*snip*

What do you think

That is the same TV I want, only seen it for about £1350 though, I would snap it up for £700, or even £800.

Don't suppose you could get me one and I'll make it worth your while ;)

I am afraid we can't get hold of them any more - not that I would be able to help, as per rules ;). Ocuk did do them, have you checked on the site?

Great choice on TV! Make sure if you use the VGA for the 360 to use VGA -> DTV mode by setting the 360 to 1280x720. You'll get component vibrancy with vga sharpness :D

Yes i am.. only issue tho is it seems to Zoom the image slightly.. As when in PC mode there is about another 30 - 40 extra pixels around the edge of the screen.+

It's got Bramble's signature so surely that makes it worthless!

never understand why people have subs on there desks

Because for low range speakers, the subs frequency range ventures so high as for it to become directional. When this occurs, the best placements in terms of sound fidelity, for the sub, is to have it smack bang in the middle of the 2 fronts.

ech forgot to switch it on :/ ......just got my x-box 360 for £80, only been switched on 6-7 times since Chrimbo by the previous owner ':O)

Got my 360 a couple of weeks ago :D and this is my current set up:

x360.JPG

Left screen is used for the 360 and PC uses the right hand screen, the sound system is a cheapo 5.1 jobbie but it sounds good and it's nice and loud to drown out the 360's disc drive :D

Soon to be replacing the left screen with most likely a 19in Widescreen for some 720p goodness! Well chuffed with it - at the mo it runs 1280x1024 and so far it looks  amazing!! I've got PGR3 and Pro Evo 6 but borrowing Saint's Row and Dead Rising off a mate. Dead Rising =
