Shower or bath?

Shower every single time, havent been in the bath for years.

Dont see the point in sitting in the days accumulation of muck tbh.

I dont find a bath particularly relaxing either...just find it a bit boring and frustrating.

I go for showers however I had a bath for the first time in about 5 years and quite enjoyed it. Won't make a habbit of it though

seriously though your skin is constantly shedding and regrowing so bathing is essentially just lying in your own dead skin, which kinda defeats the point of washing
You do take a bath in water yes? The ratio of skin to water is so low that the amount of dirt or skin left on your body has to be minuscule anyway. Just think the skin and dirt from a day or so of dirtyness can only really amount to a few grams at most, that's a few grams in around 80,000g of water.

The Japanese have the best view IMO. Shower followed by a soak in the bath every night to relax yourself at the end of the day.

Saying that though, I'm not too keen on the sharing bath water with the family idea...

I reckon baths actually clean you better than showers in terms of deep engrained dirt and dirt in 'special areas', as the water can infiltrate right up your butt crack and dislodge all those stubborn grogans.

However when I have a bath (about once every two weeks) I usually still have a quick rinse in the shower afterwards, to get rid of any soap.

Shower - although after a football match or a particularly long road cycle then a bath is awesome. Tbf I would normally shower first so that I'm not in my own skanky water

Shower mostly as bathing is just lying in your own muck

if I have a long soak in the bath I have a quick shower after anyways

As much as I like stewing in my own filth I tend to shower although my both solely has baths

I guess I just don't get that dirty. Granted, after a festival you want to shower before you've had a bath, but day to day? How often do you people wash, really?

As mentioned, unless you wash irregularly enough to be clinically unsafe to hang around, how does dead skin make a bath skanky? How often do you wash your bedsheets? Even if it's every week, that's gotta be a minimum of 40hrs rolling around in dead skin and anything else you managed to accumulate between spurts of unfortunate rain. If you put it into perspective, you'll realise how dumb it is to take hygiene advice from a decade-old episode of Friends.

Bath only for me. Grew up not having a shower in the house till I was 20 and that's how I've grown up. It's better for my really dry skin anyway as I can soak in special stuff to make me look less like a cornflake monster.

I'm with the majority here; showers. I am far too lazy to run a bath and then sit in my own filth for 30 minutes. Shower - quick - easy and cleaner.
