I have aan aqualisa powershower. Can anyone recommend a good head that doesn't restrictions flow and also is easily cleaned as we live in a very hard water area. I would like it totobe chrome too.

Cheers

Might seem a weird shower head but have a look at the Methven Aio Aurajet Shower Head its a different design to most over shower heads out there and gets very good reviews plumber parts on youtube has done a review in the past so maybe search for that to get an idea of the spray pattern etc

looks good, but will those hidden nozzles be hard to clean? I live in a hard water area too and have to give the shower head a scrub every week to clear away limescale

cant give a 100% answer as to what its like in hard water areas but one of the features it has is supposedly

  • Hydrophobic properties resist the build up of limescale
also a customer asked a question and got this reply from a user of the shower head

We have really bad limescale, most showerheads are clogged within 1-2 months. Will this design prevent clogging or are there still small holes to get blocked?

I live at west sussex and just moved to a new build property. I have installed the shower head about 6 weeks ago and have had no problem so far . The water pushes out from the edge of the shower head in a steady lovely flow

to clean a showerhead. remove it. from hose. put it in a ziplock bag or a bucket. fill with pure white vinegar you can also add bicarb soda and peroxide for tougher to remove limescale.

leave it in their for a few hours scrub it and put it back in for a day.

if that doesn't work try pure thick bleach with 50% water.
