Shucked HDD Help

Purchased a 12Tb WD Elements External HDD with the intent to shuck it and stick in my MediaServer

The HDD model is WD120EMAZ

When I use an old enclosure without encryption Windows 10 sees the HDD as 16Tb but under Disk Management it's listed as gpt protective partition

I've tried the offline/online trick to no avail

Any pointers?

Is it possible that your old (usb?) enclosure can't cope with drives as large as 12TB?
Tried connecting the drive directly?

Don't know what the issue was however now safely tucked into my HP Proliant Server along with 36Tb of storage
