Sick of all that is 1966'

tbh im fed up with football. im not a fan of the sport and it seems that all tv and newspapers mention it and its either that or big brother which is also terrible. do they dont understand not everyone likes football?

I am a die hard Scot, from the south side of Glasgow, you dont get much rougher or patriotic than me, and i am sick to the back teeth with Scots who have a chip on thier shoulder over the "England" question, and it usually comes from fellow Scots who have never left there, or travelled the world etc. There are small minded people everywhere you go, and it seems to be them who get all the attention. I just wish for once The Scots would forget the past with Braveheart etc. it was years ago, i wish the English wouldnt think everyone hates them, and put so much pressure to dominate the UK countries at sport, and we could all get behind the common cause of supporting a UK team, and hopefully watching a good game of football

This was my point too but from an Irish perspective. Some people really need to cop on.
 
Most Scot's won't support England at the world cup. Jack McConnell being one! There is nothing wrong with that! The media in Scotland is too pre-occupied with Anti-Englishness and not the fact that we are a different country and can support anyone in the world cup we wish! There is nothing wrong with England being patriotic, but don't rub it the face of the other home nations and expect us to join in!
