Silence Is Golden

They (case manufacturers) always have dust filters at the top. Not entirely sure why that’s needed as usually it is always exhaust.

are you going to run the back fans a bit faster to get the hot air out?

The exhaust fan will be running at the same speed as the intakes. I will be mostly relying on positive pressure to push out the air of the case.

Had some more time this evening to work on this.

Gave all the fans a test before the loop is put together. Some will be hard to remove due to where they are mounted, so best to check they are all working as expected first.

Found a neat little spot for the aquaero and mounted it to the case floor

Looks very tidy where it's mounted, also gives me easy access and visibility of the status light

Mounted the ambient air sensor for the aquaero right by the front intake fan grills. Should give the room ambient rather than the case ambient, might have to make some minor adjustments to its positioning.

Started putting some tubing runs in, still waiting on some parts so this is as far as it can go for now until a few more bits arrive. Feels like it is shaping up nicely though

I am surprised you didn’t go with hard tubing. Those fans at the top look epic. I reckon you should leave it like that. They look like some kind of hifi speaker cones.

Hard tubing would look epic here, however its not what everyone wants. Personally I'd not be happy with those tube runs and think a few 45 and 90 degree fittings would really tidy things up. Aim the fittings at each other and you should get some nice sweeping gentle curves.

Hi mate, appreciate the feedback. I agree that hard tubing would look good in this instance, but I am just not a fan. I like classic soft tubing, I don't mind the runs being a little bendy here and there, I am confident it will tie together.

Not a fan of hard tubing, prefer soft haha, and thank you :)

This log is an evolution of an existing system rather than a new build, various parts have been ordered, and some still need to be ordered. This cooling system upgrade is also in advance of hardware upgrades that will be occurring in a few months.

Waiting for all the hype to die down. Prices are crazy at the moment and not in a rush at all lol.

Update: Had some time to put the loop back together today, some pics below :). Initially with fans running at 100% with no aqua suite installation I was seeing water temps at 3 degrees over delta. My 1080ti was loading at 32 degrees in a room temp of 24 degrees which is crazy! Got aqua suite installed now and will be having a play.
