I am going to be making the transition back to a conventional HDD from an SSD but I have really gotten used to the zero noise made by my SSD. Is there any product that OCUk has, other than the Zalman heat-pipe cooler that could potentially help with allowing me to maintain a silent system?

I tried searching for a solution in the store, but couldn't find anything decent. My Samsung F3 vibrates against the case like crazy. A lot of people use hard-drive caddies to eliminate noise.

I have a Scythe Quiet Drive which is basically a metal 5.25" case that is the surrounded by foam. It was quite effective at subduing noise from my Samsung F3, it was still audible when seeking though. Not much point in me using it now as I have 5 other drives in the PC in normal bays.

Scythe Himuro is a good choice if you want silence but cooling wise your drive temp will be a few deg higher
comapared to a bare mounted drive according to reviews.
I have only used the zalman and it really helps dampening with the vibration made by the drive but it will not
be able to help with the whining noise created by the drive.

Tried the Scythe Himuro a year or so back - utterly useless at damping access noise IMO.

Suspend it with elastic - the best and cheapest solution by far.
