I'm building a new sytem based around the Silverstone Tj09 or Tj07, which i'll try and quieten down with quieter fans and sound damping foam.

Has anyone tried silencing one of these cases?? Any idea which is better in this regard??

Wouldn't use silencing foam myself, last time I tried it it didn't do much.

Haven't used either of the cases though I would suggest getting a heatpipe cooler for your gfx card and also replace the intake, exhaust fans and CPU cooler if they're stock.

I was running all my fans in my TJ07 at 7volt before i got my fan controller...

The silverstone fans that come with the TJ07 are just about silent when running at 7v....

I only fitted a fan controller because i wanted more control over my RAD fans..as i have a PA120.3 rad in the bottom apartment of my TJ07...

Cool (pun intended!), Are you talking about the stock silverstone fans? (do you have a widget that lets them run at 7v?) I was think of getting Noctua fans instead.

Incidently, how many fans does it come supplied with?

Yes the stock silverstone fans...

No i do not use a widget for 7v (whatever a widget is  )..I just mod the Molex connector/s to run the fans at 7v...

The TJ07 comes with four 120mm fans & two 92mm fans...

I have not tryed the silverstone 92mm fans as i installed two 92mm silenX fans as soon as i received my case...
