Silent dual SATA NAS?

Are there any silent NAS hard drive solutions that support two SATA drives, and are near silent. I noticed the Dlink on the oc site but it looks like is has a small (and probably noisy) fan.

Isn't the point of NAS that you can put it anywhere on the LAN and hence the noise isn't that much of an issue?
