Stupid question, but I cant decide what to do.
I currently have 2x WD 500gb HDDs which I use separately for not essential applications and music etc.
They are about 4-5 years old and I am about to replace them.
I am going to pull them out to run mirrored in a cheap NAS for my parents home.
Question is in my machine would you buy another 2 x 500gb WD blue drives or 1 x 1tb WD black drive and partition it?
I haven't used non raided partitions before and just wondered if Im missing something biblical?
