Silly Scotsmen

I'm surprised they managed to get it into the centre of the Union Canal, that's decidedly further than I would have expected. I don't know about this whole business of charging them, I'd be more in favour of giving them tetanus shots and sending them on their way, anyone that stupid is likely to find a way to do themselves in sooner or later.

If look how the car is aligned, to me it looks like they have driven down the middle of it for some time
 
The back the boot is open makes you think that the front went under enough so the doors wouldn't open and they had to get out the boot, or at least one of them did.

I'm wondering if they left the bootlid open in case it did go through the ice. Although that sounds a bit sensible for someone that did this in the first place. ;)

Creative thinking ??... Well, yes, I guess being blitzed out your nut 90% of the time will inspire some crazy things :)
