Silly Season - Buttons Turn

Didn't Brundle or someone say that one of the likely sticking points in Button signing a contract have something to do with the amount of sponsors days/events that McLaren drivers have to do, that it's more than anyone else, and perhaps Button wants to agree on less?
I don't think money will be the main issue, I reckon it's more down to the fine print. Whitmarsh already said he wanted to sign Button into a long term contract, and who can blame him, no one else fits the bill better than him to team mate Hamilton.

He certainly said it in regards to Hamilton and Hamilton said when he signs a new contract they will be in for a shock on how much he wants it cut down. I assume button will want the same so they have more race prep time.

With all the team events they have to do, Button still finds the time to do really bad adverts so can't be that busy!
