The unconventional design of Carbide Series Air 540 utilizes dual chambers to deliver cooler air to your CPU, graphics cards, motherboard, and memory without your drives or power supply getting in the way. The included custom Air Series AF140L intake and exhaust fans provide great airflow performance at lower noise levels than typical case fans. And, you can mount up to six 120mm or five 140mm fans, with 280mm top radiator support and room for a 360mm radiator on the front panel.

Looks nice but seeing as I'm going for black/red build think the black would be more suitable, however I'm still trying to decide between it and the 750d.
 
Looks very nice, more of a gunmetal type colour, (or my eyesight is goosed). Still though i prefer the look of the black one.
 
wonder when theyll put the dvd drive right ?


has anyone measured to see the difference ?

The only way to mount a dvd drive horizontally, would be to do some major editing to the case, though I have contemplated a few similar ideas.


I like the silver look, yes its retro, but its awesomely retro..
 
Looks better in black, a nice red/black one would look great.

Probably more of a question for a different section but as it's being discussed anyway, is there any issues burning/reading/ripping dvd's when the drives in a vertical position?

Some cheapish desktops use vertical drives, and they have never had problems that I know of.

Consoles too, you shouldn't worry :P
