You're right about low scores. Only four people have scored more than 3 today. And the leader JohnnyG is on only 1! Trouble is, so is his closest rival, Rotty.

Like Pigeon says that is correct. However a common mistake some newer players make, you don't get the 1 point for the result if you get the scoreline, you just get the 3 points.
