Silverpaw Prediction League round 28 - 4/5 April

With the Saturday games played, it looks as if Stoddy's way out in front this week. Seven out of eight correct results, and three of these with the correct scoreline. Next is [ASSE]Hinchy and 12, me on 11, and three - Sycho, syke and The Pat on 10. Can any of us catch Stoddy tomorrow?

No. You're quite right to question me. Mistakes are easily made. Just ask mad_allan; I got his wrong on three consecutive weeks a while ago, even missed him out altogether on one occasion.

Stoddy's amazing week continued into Sunday. Had Spurs not capitulated in the final few minutes yesterday, he'd have had 10 out of 10 correct results. As it is he has 9 results, including 4 correct scorelines, giving him 17 points - possibly the highest weekly total this season.

Having written that, I see the same applies to me. Also 9 out of 10. But in my case I only got 2 correct scorelines. So together with [ASSE]Hinchy, we're four point behind Stoddy for the week. Indeed, checking even further, I see I was only about three minutes away from a perfect week, whereas Stoddy was ten minutes away.

For the season, Miguél managed to do at least as well this week as his nearest challengers, and now leads by 14 points from mad_allan, and 15 from GreenLizard0, in spite of GreenLizard0's late attempt to get a better prediction for one of today's games.
