Yep, you import the image file into the game via a rather hidden menu (sry can't recall the key strokes to get it)

In Windows, create a folder with the region name you want. Then in Sim City, go to change your region and choose the folder you just created. Then press CTRL + ALT + SHIFT + R, and browse to the location where you saved the image file. Be sure to do this from the region view. Be warned tho, it can take around 5 mins to generate the region from the image. Hope this helps.

What size tiles do you guys tend to play on?

I love playing the smallest tiles because you can fill it fast, but i always hit points where the population just wont increase at all because theres no room.

I use the larger ones for my residential and commercial areas and the smaller ones for my industry areas. Larger the better IMO

dont think so but it only takes 2 seconds to save and get back to region view

2seconds? maybe for a small tile with 1 building..... but for a large tile with a massive city? lol

ok 5 seconds. instead of saving then exit, click exit to region and save it that way, its a lot faster.
