Sim City 4

I have just played again from a straight install (deluxe version) for a couple of hours. Going along nicely and changing the rendering to software worked a treat. Thanks.

However, I have just had a CTD. No trace of the program in Task manager or anything.

Does this need to be run as an admin or in a compatibility mode to be stable on Win 7 64bit?
 
SC4 is one of my most played ever games. Spent hours and hours on it when I was age 10-16 with my bro.

We made a few regions, but our main one was called Utopia and had a region population of about 8million. Biggest cities were Mega-city 1, 2 and 3 with populations of 800k, 1100k and 1600k respectively. My bro even managed to fit 600k people into a MEDIUM sized square. I could never get above ~300k in that area.

I never used any mods and the only cheats I used were good old "weaknesspays", "fightthepower", "howdryiam" and "you don't deserve it", but I only used them in some cities, and in the 3 cities above only MC3 has the power&water cheats on.

It's funny how I still remember all the cheat codes lol.
 
Got me started on Sim City 4 again this thread.

For some reason, my residential zones will only develop on the inside corners of roads. I can create new areas and houses will instantly pop up but only in the corners. Any idea what's that's all about?

quick one, for the life of me i can not find, the command to view the networks on the NAM moD, i.e the arrows on the road so you know your doing it right.

how do i view them?
