I think you're gonna have to spend at least £225 to get it sim free.
Orange do it on PAYG for a little bit less than that.

if you shop properly, you can pick sim free up VERY cheap

for example in the past 2 weeks while switching phones i have bought-

Nokia E65 for £120, 1 week old fully boxed
Samsung U600 (for missus) £126, minor and i mean minor chip at bottom, wouldnt see it unless i pointed it out
Nokia 6300 £76, brand new in box
Samsung U600 £141, brand new in box

I have then tried each phone as i got it, decided i didnt like it sold for profit and carried on.

Unforutnatly the 2 sites I buy from I cant list here, but theres a good marketplace for handsets ;)
