SimCity server problems ????? Help

I've have recently bought sim city but whenever I join a server, I'm experiencing long wait times, is it a general problem or is this problem I'm my end??

To put it politely their servers are ******!
It's a well known issue.

is it true that theyre going to be improving the servers to get rid of these issues ?

You'd hope so or else the game is next to useless.

I've not played sim city since the early 2000s and even I know they stuffed up the servers
