Similar bands too...

In terms of more electronic stuff, here are a few i'd recommend:

Notwist - Like Postal Service, only better, less "poppy". Four Tet and Manitoba did a rather nice remix of one of their songs. Check out the Neon Golden album.

Manitoba - Psychedelic rock with electronic beats, the creation of one guy. (Also know known as "Caribou", after a lawsuit, although I prefer his Manitoba stuff better).

Colleen - More Four Tet-esque Folktronica, a bit more relaxed than his Rounds-era stuff.

Dntel - If you like Postal Service, you must like this. The track "(This is) The Dream Of Evan and Chan" is the song that led to the creation of Postal Service, and the album that that song is to be found on, "Life Is Full Of Possibilities", is one of my favourite albums of all time. He's released some other, more "dancy" stuff, but give that album a try first.

Hope you enjoy :)

Good call on Neon Golden by Notwist; it's a brilliant album. If you like that album perhaps check out Boards Of Canada, The Books or Brian Eno.

If you're looking for something a bit more diverse and electronic the I'd have to recommend Death in Vegas, specifically their album 'The Continuo Sessions'. As for some more indie recommendations (as if there arent enough in the thread already), I'll go for 'We Have Sound' by Tom Vek and 'Free The Bees' by The Bees.

What about king adora stuff, it's similar stuff to hot hot heat but far better. You might want to check out head automatica aswell, got some really catchy songs. For a little bit of a change check out jetplane landing.
