Hi folks,

As part of my uni course (Computer Forensics) I'm learning Linux (specifically Debian). Sadly, I don't have much experience using the CLI, which is a bit of a handicap on this course :)

Would anyone be able to point me towards a good entry level online guide - something showing me how to navigate round folders, copy/move/delete stuff, just the very basics to start with. If anyone can recommend a decent book as well so I've got it to hand, that would be great as well.

Thanks in advance!

It just so happens I work in Computer Forensics! Do you live near London at all?

Interesting - what does 'computer forensics' actually entail? Rummaging around people's HDDs for illegal porn and suchlike?
