Simple install question...

Hi, I've checked the forum pages for an answer to this, can't see one, but thought that, seeing as it's a simple question it wouldn't matter too much if it's oft-asked.

I currently have a Maxtor 6L160M0 160GB drive in my PC. It is the system (and only) drive in the PC. I back-up everything on an external 250GB drive.

It's been in the system for nearly 3 years now. I've noticed it crunching a lot recently, and disk-access performance as well as system log-on time seem to be a lot poorer of late. I run a fairly lean system with few startup programs, and scan for viruses and spyware weekly, so I'm figuring it's the drive itself.

I'm thinking of upgrading to a Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 since it's cheap and offers more storage space than my current drive. All I want to know is, since I'd be buying it OEM from here and I've never installed a drive before, is if all my current cables etc will be sufficient to connect it? I can do a fresh install of Windows on it no problem, but have only ever installed RAM and a GPU into my PC, but I've read that it's not hard to install a HDD.

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The 6L160M0 is SATA150 so the data cable will be fine, it also only has a SATA power connector (as does the Seagate) so the power should be OK too.
