simple maths help - currency conversion

Given a current conversion rate of 1 GBP = 1.26 EUR, then

£2,800*1.26 = €3,534.26

Edit: But in your particular case, £2,800*0.75 = €2,100.

wait a sec

which one is correct!!!

(1 / 0.75) = 1.33 x 2800 = 3724

2800 / 0.75 = 3733

which one is correct?

tut tut tut, don't round!
If you do 1/0.75 you get 1.3333333333333333333333333333333 until infinity NOT 1.33 :p
If you do it all in one go on a calculator, you get 3733
