Never installed wireless, so be nice 
here is what im trying to do
trying to connect my laptop to my pc, im not using any routers or switches, my pc is connected to internet through normal ADSL modem.
I created a wireless connection on my pc with TCP/IP settings "Obtain an IP address automatically"
My laptop picks up this connection, i say connect, it connects with "excellent" signal. but im not able to connect to the internet!
on my pc i set my Broadband connection to "Allow other network users to connect through this computer's internet connection"
firewalls are turned off
my wireless network's settings are:
Network Authentication:Open
Data encryption: Disabled
"The Key..." box is ticked
what am i doing wrong?
