Simple photoshop question!

Hi, after using photoshop 7 for a couple of years, I decided to trial CS2. One thing thats bugging me though is selecting layers.

In photoshop 7, to select an object within a layer I'd just press CTRL + left click the layer - and it would select the objects in that layer.

Now with CS2 it just selects the layer in the the layers panel and doesnt actually select the objects on the canvas :confused:

Any ideas?

Ctrl + Click on the layer thumbnail.

Haha, i was clicking a few pixels away from the thumbnail... sooo close.

To be fair it only took me 30 seconds in Google to find that out.
