Sorry for the really newb question here.
My rig is currently running a custom loop. I have always used an EK DCP pump like this - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-103-EK&groupid=962&catid=2141&subcat=2142
Question is I want to upgrade this and was looking at the Laing DCC pumps, if I get one of these http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-047-AC&groupid=962&catid=2141&subcat=2142 and a head for it does that sit outside of my res just as a like for like upgrade of the EK i am using? I have always thought they were for people who had the res sitting right on top of the pump which is not what I want as I have a drive bay res ( single )
