Currently have a Samsung Synchmaster T240 which I use with my main desktop. I want to get another monitor or TV for just watching videos/DVDs, possibly to be streamed by a NAS. What should I go for - Monitor or TV and which model for £300ish? BTW I don't watch TV at all.

If it's just for videos I'd consider a VA panel for the contrast ratios - dark scenes will look much nicer.
