Simple RMA question

I am RMAing my motherboard this morning, but was wondering if i should keep the battery in it?, silly question i know but am not familiar with RMAing a motherboard.

?? yes of course you should..
You should send it back as you got it. Check the manufacturers website for RMA terms and conditions. They normally email packing instructions when the RMA is raised?

you might want to clear the CMOS...depending on what you have been doing (crazy high voltages etc!!!)
