Simplify 4xSSD Raid-0 to a single drive?

I got a bunch of cheap SSDs recentely, they are now in a four way RAID-0, which is quite prone to a failure, so I have a nightly backup to an HDD.

As prices continue to lower, I may now be able to afford a much more simple setup with a larger single or mirrored SSD instead.

The linear read speeds will be slightly lower perhaps (I am currently hitting 1.5GB/s for sequential) but I don't that anyway and the reliability should be much better.
Worth it, or should I wait until it breaks?

I will be upgrading my boot drive to m2 PCIE drive, the Samsung 950 Pro anyway, but having a 2TB array of those would be too expensive.
I guess I'll let the array live for a while longer until I come across some good 960/1TB SSD deals.
