simpsons the game

I actually quite enjoyed The Simpsons: Hit & Run :)

This one looks quite good so far but we'll have to wait and see if it's any good. The Family Guy game looked good but it was rubbish IMO

But yeah, I loved Hit and Run too - under rated in my opinion. This new one looks good too
 
I had that on the amiga and spent hours on it. Could never get past the 4th level though. The skateboarding in the first level was great :) As were the sideshows in the 3rd.

Barts nightmare (I think it was called that) on the SNES was quite good as well. Although some of the stages were a bit random and annoying.
 
Can anyone tell me what the difference between the simpsons game for PS2 and PS3 is...

Other than the PS3 version being about a tenner more expensive...?
 
not played the PS2 version but the new game is really good on the PS3 typical Simpsons game. Well worth picking up for a bit of a laugh......
 
the camera on the demo is so infuriating. it drove me nuts (ps3). you walk near a building or something and the camer filps round, you cant see what your doing and end up facing the wrong way.

Absolutely terrible game. Massive shame, because the graphics style is very nice, it has all the voices and all of the humour... it's just completely unplayable and no fun at all.

Biggest disappointment of the year; travesty they let it be released this way. A little more work and they could have had a classic on their hands. :(

Hate the damn TV adverts for it too.

Note all my opinions are based on the demo. But reviews do seem to point to the demo being as same as the release version
 
I quite enjoyed the demo, just wasn't sure what the objective was? can you kill the big guy somehow?

I just tried finding all the tokens and eventually got bored not knowing what I was actually meant to be doing?:confused:
 
Yeah, you're supposed to kill the "big guy". You can only really do it with Bart, and that's where you'll find the camera is a bigger enemy than anything else on screen.

I found that really hard, and not really possible inside the 4min target.

And it's lard lad you noobs :p

I don't have any problems getting the first two hatches within a time that would make it possible for 4mins but the awful camera angle makes that last hatch I pain in the &*&%.

I find that sometimes, if Bart if holding on by his arms, then pulls up, you can hammer Y to yank the wires out but he just falls off, retarded Bart.
