Hell of a build this! How did you do the roof detail, I noticed you had the big joists and the osb on top, then in some later photos it looks like you have battens on top of that - is that for air flow or something?

On top of the big joists are furring strips. These are basically a wedge to give the roof an angle so the water runs off.
