Hi guys,

I was on 10.5.whatever for years, never had an issue with it. I did a clean install of Snow Leopard and it's fully updated and having the following issues

Sometimes doesn't login to facebook...just sits there on the loading screen, othertimes it goes straight in, this is the same with Chrome and Safari
iTunes won't authorise, so I can't play any of the songs I've actually bought!
Problems logging into hotmail
Sometimes when I turn the Mac Pro on it doesn't load any Network services so the internet just doesn't work

Generally anything which requires logging in except Skype, iChat, MSN, Mail and Gmail....seems to have a problem.

Anyone else encountered anything similar? :( - It's making me want to go back to Leopard :(

Is your internet connection flaky or intermittent at the moment?

It all sounds internet related as has already been pointed out, you haven't got some crazy port forwarding or QOS setup on the router based on your old IP addy have you?

(no i cant say ive seen anything like it before on my mac)

our also sure your isp hasn't/hadn't lost its connection to the US, Virgin have done that a few times for me in the last few years confuses me for a few min's

Nope, have the IP address reserved for the machines mac address, that's it :(

And don't think so, Macbook works fine etc.
