Single after 7 years of not being...help

thanks for all the replies guys. I've been up early today and whilst i didn't go for a run, i did give the front room a really good tidy, and also rearranged a few things that i didn't like when the Mrs was here. The room is really spacious now, and even though i am sitting at the pc and have the tv on as well, i feel better already. I think a bit of evening running may be in order tonight though.

It depends on whether you like running of course, but i find it a really good way to make myself feel more active and positive. I can't be arsed with gyms tbh, and once you've bought a decent pair of running shoes, running is free :D I would advise getting a decent pair of shoes to run in though - 1) it's good for your feet/knees 2) it motivates you to run having just spent £70+ on shoes you would ONLY wear for running :p

Whatever you decide though, defineately get out there and do something physical - makes a world of difference :)

i split with my gf of 4 years a couple of months ago, been hard but actually doing a lot more with my life now. we had been in a rut for a while, id play xbox she'd watch telly and we would go out seperately. Now i havent touched the xbox since we broke up, have lost a few pounds (probably mainly down to not having her cook me meals all the time :D )and been having a great time seeing mates, playing golf doing all those things i had gotten to lazy to do etc

My plan to stay extra fit is to move to South Africa and dodge bullets and knives (i move there in 21 days for 18 months)

Get down the gym matey and hit it hard regularly. Will do you the world of good mentally/physically and you will meet new people down there.
