I was going to go for a Gigabyte one based on their reputation but I just can't stand these tacky decal stickers they put on the top of the plastic cases.

Have you seen the 7970 from Gigabyte?

I'd happily pay extra for just a standard looking reference card from AMD themselves, top quality motor fan and top binned silicon.. niice.

As the initial batch are all reference cards produced and sent out by Sapphire, the only difference between them all is a sticker.

The asus have a different bios for overclocking.

some manufacturers will install there own after market coolers

most will be reference design.

Going to wait and see what the 7950 cards are like , if anything like the 6950's then hopefully will be able to unlock them

All the stock OcUK have for the launch are reference design with reference design coolers.

The only difference is the BIOS on the Asus cards.

They are all the same.

Bar Asus as they have their own BIOS which allows for much higher clocks, but you can flash any card with the Asus BIOS and get same results.

8am at the earliest, they're also selling them over the counter when they open.

No firm answer.

The only time I can see mentioned for lifting the NDA is 1 minute after midnight US Eastern Time which I think is 5:01AM in the UK.

If any UK retailers update their sites at 5:01AM we'll get prices then, if not it'll be during normal business hours.
