hi all

I'm currently using a 420mm xspc 30mm radiator on my gtx 1070 and 8600k,temps are very good but I'm moving to the new lian li case and it wont fit but I have:

1x 360mm 45mm thick xt45 radiator and 2x 240mm 60mm radiators..do you guys think the single 360mm will be good enough or should I combine 2 of any I have?

thanks

It'll be enough but as you have extra radiators available I would use one of 240mm rads aswell.

You made the mistake of asking in a forum of enthusiasts where I'm pretty sure the default thinking is; "big is good, more is better, too much is never enough". :D

The rule of thumb most people go by is 1 x 120mm rad per component cooled +1 extra, so for a cpu and 1 graphics card you will be fine with a 360 :-) Personally i have a 360 and a 240 but I have SLI 1080s and like to run the fans as slow as possible like koooowweeee said.

well I built the new case with just the single 360x45mm rad and temps were very good, just for giggles I connected a 240x60mm inline via some soft tubing and just left it resting on the desktop, temps were only 2-3c different under load so I'm going to stick with the single thanks guys..unless I drop on a cheap 360 just for aesthetics in the case as it looks empty lol.
