Just received Singstar Vol 3 and the ABBA games through the post today, anyone else picked these up? Haven't tried them yet I was hoping Vol 3 would include the disc swap software update but no details on the case stating so

No given both disc's a bash tonight, there pretty good but still no PS2 disc swap

giving VOL3 a miss this time, DLC from this week store sorted me out for the tracks i wanted of VOL3.

I will admit the Mrs bought Singstar ABBA this weekend.......!

Exciting stuff just in from Sony…

It’s the first anniversary of SingStar for PLAYSTATION®3 (PS3™) and Sony Computer Entertainment Europe have a special celebration gift for loyal PlayStation®2 (PS2™) SingStars: the ability to play our collection of PS2 discs through SingStar PS3! Arriving right in time for the holiday SingStar party season, a free online update to SingStar PS3 will allow PS2 SingStars to upgrade to PS3 safe in the knowledge that they can take their whole collection of discs with them – while PS3 SingStars can now dust off their PS2 discs and relive the SingStar parties of holidays gone by.

All you’ll need to do is connect to PlayStation®Network when the online update goes live on December 16th – 10:00 AM GMT. Once it’s downloaded (automatically), you’re good to go. Start your SingStar PS3 session as normal by loading any SingStar PS3 disc – then, you’ll be able to swap it for any PS2 disc for the rest of the session.

about time, i have been aquiring the singstar PS2 games on the quiet for the family for xmas day from the bay - have 6 now along with vol 1+2+3+Abba and over 130 songs from Singstore, although i have the BC PS3 and they work anyway even the swap disc feature amongst themselves but not with Singstar PS3 until this patch tomorrow.

This is awesome about the BC as my GF has about 6 or 7 discs from PS2 but we only have Vol 1 and the wireless mics for PS3. When you swap the PS2 disc in do you still get the nice PS3-esque singstar menus?
