Really he should be thankful it was Picard trying to talk to him, Kirk would have just gone onto the stage and smacked him one, torn his shirt open and kissed the nearest female :)

Cordon didn't make a joke about dying and as in death, he meant it as in losing the audience. I have no idea what to make of the comment the woman made.
 
I'm siding with Corden here. I don't know why Stewart felt the need to comment on how Corden was hosting the show (about standing with his hands in his pockets). He then gets personal by making the comment about seeing his belly.

Respect for elders? Why should Corden respect him when Stewart was showing such disrespect to him?
 
Can't stand Corden, don't see what's funny about a talentless fat bloke shouting in a high-pitched voice at all, would have loved to have seen Sir Patrick punch him, that would have been the only thing to make me laugh that Corden has ever been involved in.

Corden was standing around like a prat looking rather disrespectful in a generally uncaring manner? Why shouldn't someone pass comment on this? The entirely brain dead audience probably didn't notice.

I assume you're basing that comment on the video on this page - http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment_and_arts/10272333.stm

The way he is standing and spinning around I would imagine is part of a joke which we didn't see (hence why the video starts with the audience already making noise about it), or perhaps it was Corden's attempt at being funny about Star Trek (looking up for a beam or something, I don't know).

If you watched the actual show and saw how he was the rest of it though, then fair enough, I didn't see it.
 
Corden is a fool. Though Stewart should have just ignored him.

I would hope Corden gets crucified for causing this, and his general attitude. But I doubt it.
 
I think Corden was looking bored on purpose there, possibly because Stewart was going on a bit? It's hard to comment for sure, one of the articles says Corden was looking at his watch too, generally being a bit of nob.
 
Very unprofessional of Corden to interrupt and **** around behind his back, and probably damned annoying for Stewart when he's trying to give a speech. I don't blame him for insulting him, I'd be annoyed if someone was pratting around behind me like that. Unfortunately Stewart made the mistake of trying to take on someone who tells bad jokes for a living, and ultimately ended up being brought down to his level. He should know better, have at least some dignity.
