Just finished watching Cheers, every episode from start to finish and now I've got no short 20 minute programmes to have lunch or breakfast with.

Just looking for another lighthearted comedy programme along the lines of Cheers or Frasier. Thanks.

Unfortunately I've seen Seinfeld and curb. I would love to watch those for the first time again.

Shows of these calibers are what i'm after though.

Everyone Loves Raymond is an enjoyable watch. A favourite of mine is Sports Night which is set in a cable sports news show and was written by Aaron Sorkin pre-West Wing.

Other possibilities are:
Grounded for Life
King of Queens

Love this guy his tv show is fantastic! Have you checked out his stand up on his website? $5 for one of the most outrageously funny things you'll ever see!

Rules of engagement.

This, and Married with Children

Think i'm going to go with these two and Sports Night mentioned earlier, they seem more my taste than raymond etc. Thanks for all suggestions though!

Big bang theory. Managed to avoid it for years, then my gf got me watching and I am absolutely addicted!

Had to stop watching this before xmas as it just got boring and tiresome. Same old jokes, same old stereotypes being over used. First few seasons were pretty good though.

It's always sunny in philadelphia
Happy endings
Workaholics*
Community
Eastbound & Down
The league
Modern family

* quite simply, amazing

Will check out Workaholics, thanks!

Sunny is a given, and i love Community.

Think I've got quite a few comedies/sitcoms to be watching now!

Thanks everyone :)

Please carry on recommending though as i'm sure this thread will be of use to others to.

If you like Community try Parks and Recreation as well, it seems to attract people with the same sense of humour. From what I've heard it gets a lot better after the first season (only watched that one myself and it's pretty good).
