the fonts in those buttons should be the equivalent of 14 pixels but your browser is rendering them smaller for some reason, I just changed the style to define as px instead of em but no idea if that makes a difference, what version of chrome are you using? ive only been testing in the most recent.

It's working fine for me on Chrome. I think the site looks great. I love simple, clean pages.

I use a custom font and size, might be that.

Very nice buddy. Only thing I would change is putting hoverintent on those image rollovers. Its a javascript plugin that allows you to guess whether the user was intending to activate the rollover or was just passing over it naturally with their cursor.

that would be the reason then, I could always use an image to preserve the buttons, is that considered poor form?

been keeping an eye on your stuff andy since i saw the logo you did for the chesterfield computers co a bit back it looks great.

and the site looks fantastic you should have more confidence in your abilitys clearly your a talented artist.

just my 10 cents.

edit: updated animations to use hoverIntent, does look much better.
